This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Bite Binary website (bitebinary.com) or otherwise interact with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have written it to be readable. If anything is unclear, write to us at hello@bitebinary.com.
01Who we are
Bite Binary is a brand operated by buymeawork.com LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, with LLPIN AAV-3482 and registered office at Kodakara, Kerala, India — 680684. References in this policy to "we", "us", or "our" mean buymeawork.com LLP acting under the Bite Binary brand.
For all matters relating to your personal data, you can reach our point of contact at hello@bitebinary.com.
02What we collect
We try to collect as little personal information as possible. The only categories we actively collect are:
- Information you give us via the contact form. Your name, email address, organization (optional), and the contents of your message.
- Information you give us by writing to us directly. Anything you choose to include in an email to hello@bitebinary.com — typically your name, email, role, and the substance of what you want to discuss.
- Technical information about your visit. Your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you visited on our site, and approximate location (derived from your IP). This is collected automatically by the server hosting the site and by analytics tooling, where used.
- Browser camera/microphone streams (only if you explicitly enable them). The "Aural Intelligence" and "Neural Vision" demos on our homepage will request microphone and camera access, respectively, only after you click to enable them. These streams are processed in your browser for the purpose of the live demonstration. We do not record, transmit, or store the audio or video.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (for example: data about health, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation, or genetic/biometric data used for unique identification) through our website.
03How we use it
We use the information we collect for a small number of clearly defined purposes:
- To respond to you. If you fill in the contact form or email us, we use your details to reply, schedule a conversation, and continue any engagement that follows.
- To operate and secure the website. Server logs and aggregate technical information are used to keep the site running, debug errors, and detect abuse.
- To improve what we do. Aggregated, anonymized analytics help us understand which pages people read, where they come from, and how to make the experience clearer.
- To meet our legal obligations. Where we are required by law to retain or share information — for example, in response to a lawful order from a competent authority — we will do so to the minimum extent required.
We do not use your information to train AI models. We do not sell your information. We do not run programmatic advertising on this site.
04Legal basis for processing
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) applies to a particular interaction, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Your consent — when you submit the contact form, enable a camera/microphone demo, or accept non-essential cookies.
- Our legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve our website and to respond to inbound business inquiries, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Compliance with a legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information by applicable law.
05Cookies & analytics
The Bite Binary site uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local-storage entries to remember things like your acceptance of this notice and basic preferences. These cookies do not identify you personally and cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
Where we use analytics tooling, it is configured in privacy-preserving mode — IP addresses are truncated, no cross-site identifiers are set, and we do not share data with advertising networks. You can block analytics by enabling "Do Not Track" or by using a browser extension that blocks third-party scripts; the site will continue to work normally.
06Who we share information with
We share the information we collect only with a short list of categories of recipients:
- Hosting infrastructure. Our website is hosted on infrastructure provided by DigitalOcean and similar cloud vendors. Server logs are processed on this infrastructure.
- Email and form delivery. Submissions from the contact form are delivered to our hello@bitebinary.com inbox via standard email infrastructure (which may include a transactional email provider such as SendGrid, Mailgun, AWS SES, or an SMTP relay).
- Professional advisors. Lawyers, accountants, and auditors, where it is necessary for them to act on our behalf and they are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities. Law-enforcement and regulatory bodies, where we are required to share information by a lawful order or as necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
07International transfers
Because the cloud infrastructure underlying the website may be located outside the country in which you reside (for example, in the United States, the European Union, Singapore, or India), your information may be transferred across borders. Where such transfers fall within the scope of GDPR, DPDPA, or similar regimes, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms — including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the equivalent cross-border transfer permissions under DPDPA — and we work only with vendors who maintain a comparable level of protection.
08How long we keep it
- Contact form / email correspondence: retained for as long as it takes to handle your inquiry and any commercial relationship that follows it, then archived for up to 36 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Server logs: retained for up to 90 days for operational and security reasons, then aggregated or deleted.
- Analytics: retained in aggregated form. Personally identifying analytics records, where they exist, are deleted within 14 months.
Where we are required by law to retain information for longer, we will do so for the period required and no longer.
09Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against accidental loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), restricted administrative access, hardened cloud configurations, vendor due-diligence, and routine review of access logs. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
10Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Access — to obtain confirmation of whether we hold information about you, and a copy of it.
- Correction — to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure — to ask us to delete your information, subject to our legitimate retention obligations.
- Restriction or objection — to ask us to limit or stop processing in certain circumstances.
- Portability — to receive your information in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Lodging a complaint — with the data-protection authority in your jurisdiction. In India, the Data Protection Board, once constituted under the DPDPA. In the EU, your local Supervisory Authority.
To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@bitebinary.com. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
11Children
The Bite Binary website is intended for businesses and adult professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the technology we use, or applicable law. When we make a material change, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, give you a more prominent notice (for example, by email if you have a relationship with us). Continued use of the website after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
